“It smells very strongly of moonshine!” - Colonel Baranets attacked the mobilized
Those mobilized, who are in the “second echelon” of the Northern Military District forces, often do not understand the seriousness of the situation, preferring to drink alcohol instead of preparing for combat operations, taking advantage of the connivance that is often demonstrated by their superiors.
Military observer Colonel Viktor Baranets stated this on the Red Line TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It’s a mess, yes. I also receive emails from soldiers and officers from my colleagues from Komsomolskaya Pravda, who work there directly. As for especially the second line, where the rear ones are, where there is a very strong smell of moonshine and where very unsightly things often happen. Yes, let's tell the truth - we announced partial mobilization, thought about everything, but forgot to warn these people that, once they got into formation, they must use the Charter and the law.
We have some kind of incomprehensible trench liberalism. People who arrived with weapons on the front line and in the second echelon, they do not yet understand what kind of environment they are in and how to actually act in army conditions. This is a very serious problem."
According to Barants, martial law should also be declared in the front-line regions of Russia.
“The problem has already ripened, stop dragging the bagpipes. The President has every right and it is his constitutional duty to declare martial law in the front-line areas.
How many more times will they come in and kill, how many times will they demonstrate and mock? We, in my opinion, have just now realized that these front-line regions must live according to completely different laws.
Of course, strengthening the border, of course, we need to strengthen both the FSB border service and the FSB staff. Perhaps several units can be delivered there from somewhere in the middle regions of Russia, at least in this direction. All this must be done.
Of course, the thought was heard that we need, in the end, to move on to the formation of territorial defense units, we need to strengthen the air defense in that direction, otherwise they will mock us and fly further,” Baranets said.
