“The queue at BRICS is growing every month” – in Israel they explained why the West cannot isolate the Russian Federation
Despite the anti-Russian attempts of the West, many eastern countries, in particular India, continue to actively cooperate with Russia.
The former head of the Nativ intelligence service, military expert Yakov Kedmi, stated this in an interview with Israeli journalist Alexander Waldman, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“China and India are members of BRICS. BRICS is developing, and Iran, and perhaps Saudi Arabia, are expected to join in the fall. And the queue of countries that want to join BRICS is lengthening and increasing every month,” said the former intelligence officer.
Kedmi noted that, despite the attempts of the West, relations between Russia and the countries of the East continue to strengthen.
“Despite all the screaming and pressure that has been put on India, there is no sign that relations between India and Russia have changed even a millimeter for the worse. On the contrary, they are strengthened and developed.
Because relations between Russia and India are based on mutual interests, and not on differences between India and Western countries. It is the West that turns to India with demands, requests, persuasion, pressure to change relations with Russia. But India refuses.
India is an independent state and acts based on its own interests, and not to spite anyone,” he added.
