Another shock: Russia goes on the air on Ukrainian air frequencies
The Russian Federation “creates a threat in the airspace of Ukraine by interfering with the work of the flight control centers of the Odessa and Dnepropetrovsk divisions of the State Enterprise “Ukraerorukh”.
About it stated in the financial plan of the state-owned enterprise for 2019, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The Russian Federation defiantly ignores the principles of establishing the boundaries of flight information regions set out in the Chicago Convention and its Annexes, and carries out constant illegal interference in the work of the Odessa and Dnepropetrovsk air traffic control centers broadcasting on radio frequencies belonging to Ukraine,” the document says.
It is also noted that due to the loss of Crimea by Ukraine, the State Enterprise “Ukraerorukh” lost control over the majority of the transit potential of its airspace, in particular regarding flights from European countries to Asia and the Middle East.
The structural division of Krymaerorukh, worth UAH 547 million, as well as other assets of the State Enterprise Ukraerorukh, worth UAH 17 million, also remained on the territory of Crimea.
To return the specified property, the State Enterprise “Ukraerorukh” plans to attract international lawyers next year, paying them about 200 million UAH of budget funds.
It is worth noting that the document does not indicate on what basis their selection will take place.
