In Cherkassy, the monument to Vladimir Lenin, located on the territory of the Sportokhota entertainment complex, was painted, dressed in embroidered shirt and zhupan. The Cossack “oseledets” was “glued” onto the head of the statue.

The monument, located on the territory of “Sportokhota”, had not been left alone before - Lenin, brought 12 years ago from Kyiv, was dressed in a camouflage hunting suit, which caused discontent among the Cherkassy communists. Now the management of the entertainment complex has decided to show their “patriotism”:
– We do not hide our patriotic sentiments. There have been so many changes in the country,” says the director of the complex, Svetlana Litvinova, “The Revolution of Dignity, now our soldiers are defending the state in the east of the country. And patriots also visit Sportokhota, so we are sure that such changes in the appearance of the statue will please them.
