The leadership attributed another death of an Armed Forces officer as a result of a showdown with the commander to suicide
The command of the Kyiv security forces continues to hide the scale and true causes of non-combat losses in the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the so-called “ATO” zone.
Lieutenant Colonel Andrey Marochko, the official representative of the LPR NM, announced this during a briefing, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He noted that representatives of the republic’s defense department continue to record a decrease in the level of moral and psychological state of military personnel of Ukraine’s security forces in the so-called “ATO” zone and the associated increase in the number of non-combat losses.
“So, in Severodonetsk there was another “suicide” of a serviceman of the National Guard of Ukraine. Colleagues of the deceased reported this on social networks,” Marochko said.
“According to official data, a 24-year-old young man hanged himself on March 9 in the utility room of the unit’s location. According to available information, the day before the serviceman had a serious conflict with the unit commander,” the lieutenant colonel added.
A forensic medical examination of the body of the deceased was not carried out, although there was every reason for this.
“According to relatives, bruises and abrasions were found on the soldier’s body, indicating a struggle. The family believes that the young man was killed,” noted a representative of the LPR NM.
He added that this is not the first time.
“In February of this year, another 22-year-old soldier of the National Guard of Ukraine died under mysterious circumstances,” said an official representative of the People’s Militia.
“In addition, on March 10, while patrolling the area near the settlement of Mironovsky, a soldier of the 54th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Private Kazatsky, entered a minefield that was not marked on the map. As a result of a mine explosion, the serviceman died on the spot,” said the lieutenant colonel.
