Ukrainian military units in Donbass opened fire on the school grounds on the first day of the resumption of classes interrupted by quarantine.

“Today, November 15, the first day when the children of the republic returned to school, militants of the 24th brigade opened fire from an LNG (mounted anti-tank grenade launcher) and small arms at the village of Zolote-5, as a result of which the glazing of school No. 4. It is striking that the shelling took place at 12:30 p.m., during the educational process, when all the students were in the school building,” the department said.
It is noted that according to preliminary data, there were no injuries among students and staff of the educational institution.
“At 12:30, from the area of the settlement of Zolote-4, armed formations of Ukraine fired at the settlement of Zolote-5 using SPG-9 (5 shots) and small arms,” the LPR Representative Office in the JCCC clarified.
Rodion Miroshnik, adviser to the head of the LPR Foreign Ministry, commented on the incident.
“They shot purposefully from a grenade launcher. From positions just 1,5 kilometers away, from the very same ones where the newly appointed Minister of Defense Reznikov climbed yesterday or the day before yesterday. I admired the patriotic spirit of the “warriors.” “It’s good for warriors to make fun of the school where children study,” Miroshnik wrote in his Telegram.
In turn, a former representative of the operational command of the DPR, military correspondent Dmitry Astrakhan, in his blog called the shelling typical Ukrainian terrorism.
“In Ukraine they call such actions “mistakes”, “blunders” or talk about elusive military targets. They also came up with the technical expression “anti-human shield tactics” or “clearing the battle zone of civilians.” In fact, this is just terrorism. Wait for the children to go to school and fire at the school,” the military correspondent emphasized.
