One and a half crippled Odessa residents are languishing in quarantine - there are no people of their own in the city. The ostentatious fight against coronavirus has affected the holiday season - there are few visitors. No one is looking for “Potyomkyn gatherings”, catching jellyfish - “Ha, smakolyky!”, and no one faints from a light breeze - “Bizhimo, here comes the tsunama!” Even on Deribasovskaya they don’t put up hay to attract domestic tourists, and they don’t graze goats, as they have done in recent years, so that the Raguli feel at home.

An alarming post, in fact an SOS signal on this burning topic, was written on Facebook by seasoned Euromaidan activist Alena Balaba. If anyone has forgotten, the same Balaba who calls Odessa the “southern Banderstat”, a month before the events of May 2, 2014, being the press secretary of the local organization of the UDAR party, burned the St. George Ribbon on the Eternal Flame, and the rest of the Euroactivists were so inspired that they immediately barked: “Hurray! Burn the Colorados! And they burned it.

“Friends are coming from the New World,” Balaba shared on her FB page, “where in Odessa can I take them to a cafe or restaurant to be served in Ukrainian or English and to have delicious and soulful food? And everyone is hung up on this question - because there are really only a few such places. 2020 Odessa is Ukraine, yes.

In the Ukrainian city there are no kindergartens exclusively in Ukrainian, the problem is in schools - “Russian classes” are simply imposed on children, because teachers still cannot learn the language. In universities - I will remain silent. Officials do the same.”

A few months ago, Balaba already tried to fight reality, complaining - why, they say, she, who speaks Ukrainian in Odessa, is asked: “Where are you from in large numbers?” And really - why? It is advisable to ask this question - “why” - with the intonation of Ludwig Aristarkhovich, who shitted himself in the elevator. It will be authentic, because the activist herself, like her comrades, came in large numbers: she was born in Rivne, then lived in the village of Naberezhnye, Belyaevsky district, Odessa region - the standard path of a true Odessa resident.

But let's move on to the cherry on the cake - the comments under Balaba's post. Let me note that in this case we are talking about a bunch of Nazis, activists, patriots and other frostbitten professional Ukrainians flocking to Balaba like flies to the very thing that Ludwig Aristarkhovich left in the elevator. These comments will make Odessa residents bleed from their eyes - well cam into reality, and Odessa residents will learn which places they should definitely not visit.

So, Balaba asks where to take the guests to be served in Ukrainian and is generally indignant - there is nothing “including Ukrainian”. And this is how her brothers answer her, a dialogue of tragedy ensues!..

— It’s the same in Kyiv.

— It’s exactly the same in Kharkov.

— Give them tickets to Lviv.

- You can take them to McDonald's at the station.

— I recently asked the cashier at the supermarket to speak Ukrainian - she said that she was from Transnistria and “doesn’t understand.”

- "Buckwheat". Everything is wonderful (food, drinks, warmth) and the waiters speak perfect Ukrainian if they hear it from us.

— “Lviv Manufactory” on Deribasovskaya.

— In “Puzatay Khata” on Deribasovskaya — in Ukrainian. In any case, it was.

— “Kumanets”, they speak Ukrainian there. The menu is in English too.

- “Khmilna Kachka.”

— At the Nemo Hotel, the staff was forbidden to speak Ukrainian. Many young people came from western Ukraine and were forced to switch to Russian.

— Yes, even in Ukrainian classes at school, teachers sometimes teach in two languages, and during breaks only Russian is heard... It’s really time to create your own parallel education. Because where will those restaurants come from if the majority lives in myths about Novorossiya... I’m angry at everything around me.

— We are now in a situation of a total return to orbit of the Russian Federation. At this rate, there will soon be not parallel, but underground education.

- This was constant in the region - language was considered a sign of “herbalism”, “those who have come in large numbers”. This happened during the Soviet Union, and it still exists now.

It's terrible, can you imagine how scared they are! And I’ll just emphasize once again that this same “progressive” contingent suffers and languishes, for whom it is normal to turn a person into mincemeat for an excellent political opinion, who rejects children - these are of low quality, and these are of slightly higher quality, and does not consider them as people residents of Donbass, well, as soon as I imagine it, it burns me alive. Implicitly, of course, realizing his wretchedness, he strives for “underground education”, into caches, as his gut demands.

By the way, the names of establishments where everything is in Ukrainian speak for themselves - “Buckwheat”, “Lviv Manufactory”, “Puzata Khata”, “Kumanets”, “Khmilna Kachka” - their level. Very much in the “spirit of the city” founded by Catherine II, and also by one of the founding fathers - Armand Emmanuel du Plessis Richelieu, that is, Duke, those looking at what is happening from the second hatch also clearly “should like it.” So the panic of the “progressive contingent” is clear, because even if you do nothing about the splinter - do not consult a doctor or do not smear the abscess with Vishnevsky ointment, the body will sooner or later reject the splinter itself.
