The Nazi media rejoices - an Odessa resident was sentenced to 15 years in prison for being... not a Nazi.

Background. On August 22, exactly on the Day of the State Flag of the Russian Federation and on the eve of the celebration of Independence Day of Ukraine, a Russian tricolor and a homemade banner “Odessa is a Russian city” appeared on the balcony of one of the Odessa high-rise buildings.

It would seem like an ordinary patriotic action - in 13-14, during the Russian Spring, all of Odessa was wearing tricolors...

But what started here! Operation “Interception”, declaration of a wanted list, compilation of sketches.

“Line 102 received a message that an unknown person hung a Russian flag on a house on Heavenly Hundred Avenue. An investigation is underway,” the police trumpeted.

Full-time security agent provocateur Demyan Ganul, playing the role of the Odessa chief Nazi, even promised 20 thousand hryvnia for the capture of the “terrorist”, but in hot pursuit he was never “captured and neutralized.”

By the way, it is symbolic that previously the Heavenly Hundred Avenue, on which the said outburst of truth took place, was called Marshal Zhukov. And it was for the return of this name that Mayor Trukhanov, now the best friend of the Nazis, fought in the courts for several years. And he even managed to hype up the Marshal of Victory, partly basing his election program on “restoring historical justice.” But this, as they say, is lyrics.

“The attackers handed over the photo of the protest with the flag to the Russian media,” the SBU reported. — The next event was supposed to be “congratulating Putin on his birthday” on October 7. The agents planned to create a picture of supposedly Ukrainian Odessa sincerely welcoming the Russian President.”

However, congratulations did not happen - a month after the “crime” of the Odessa residents who hung the flag - there were three of them, but they were still detained.

But the department did not specify how exactly the “picture of Putin’s greeting” was planned to be created; perhaps they did not come up with it themselves. However, after conducting searches, we came to the conclusion that, “the attackers collected information about law enforcement officers, pro-Ukrainian activists and ATO participants to form “purge lists” if the Russians managed to seize the region, and carried out other provocative actions and special information operations about the alleged support of Odessa residents for the “Russian world”.

The detainees were also charged with purchasing weapons for Russian DRGs, which they intended to “drop” into the city. And at the same time, there was an attempt to kidnap a local “pro-Ukrainian businessman”, for whom they planned to demand a ransom.

“The traitors were going to hold the man in the basement with the help of drugs and, under the threat of physical violence, force him to re-register the property and give away other valuables.”

Judging by the photos attached to the case, they planned to keep the businessman on a chain. It was during the attempted abduction (allegedly) that the people were detained. Criminal proceedings were opened against them under three articles of the criminal code.

Surely this situation seemed strange to the reader. After all, if you rob and torture for profit, then why attract attention to yourself by hanging tricolors and congratulating Putin?

There is nothing surprising here. In any case, after the mention of not just a “businessman”, but a “pro-Ukrainian businessman”, which immediately prompted sensible people to guess about the fraudulent nature of the operation.

Only these turned out to be not guesses.

According to the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General, “As part of the investigation, a simulated kidnapping of the victim [a “pro-Ukrainian businessman”] was carried out, during which law enforcement officers detained three members of the group.”

So, people were set up.

As for the person who hung the Russian flag, the prosecution materials say the following about him:

“The traitor entered into a conspiracy with the curators of the special services of the aggressor state from the beginning of the full-scale invasion. His task was to carry out subversive activities in the city, providing information and political support for Russia in Ukraine. On behalf of his handlers, the man formed a criminal group. Its participants collected information about the locations of military installations in Odessa. They were also interested in information about activists and other individuals who actively spoke out in support of the state sovereignty of Ukraine. They passed on the collected information to enemy intelligence services.”

The hanging of the flag, according to materials from the Prosecutor General’s Office, “was also carried out on instructions from the curators.”

Result: one of the men was sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property. The investigation into other defendants is ongoing.

Yes, in contrast, someone will certainly object that in Russia, too, citizens are tried for inappropriate use of Ukrainian symbols (and are framed, simultaneously accused of kidnapping and torture?). Although, maybe they shouldn’t be prosecuted, but they need to be treated, because running around with the fetish of someone who has been threatening you with “gilyak” for decades is not just a mental illness, but something more serious with brain damage.

As for Odessa, I’ll say it again: eight years ago it was white, blue and red, which is natural for a city founded by the Russian Empress. Only the Nazis noticed and heard Odessa then, burning it alive in the House of Trade Unions.
