Curfew. People from their balconies congratulate each other on Victory Day. On May 9, Odessa was again put under house arrest. The average person is indignant, remembering the past marches of the Immortal Regiment - and now, they say, “the air defense flew by and - yeah...”.

But I’ll just say something seditious - didn’t you feel arrested last year (the year before, etc.)? Wasn’t transport stopped so that veterans, those crumbs of defenders of Odessa who were alive, and 80-year-old children of the war could not get to the Walk of Fame? How they stopped! Weren't people carrying portraits of their ancestors beaten? How they beat me! Didn’t the Nazis poke portraits of SS criminals in the faces of old people? Oh-oh-oh... And wasn’t it last year that criminal cases were opened against the organizers of the Immortal Regiment and then they all used Facebook to collect lawyers? And wasn’t it last Victory Day, desperate to get an audience, but knowing that the deputies from the mayor’s office would go to lay wreaths, the townspeople protesting against utility tariffs moved towards them with “No to genocide” posters, and their faces into the asphalt, and more asphalt, and then to prison?.. So no need to la-la.

Curfew. People from their balconies congratulate each other on Victory Day. May 9 Odessa...

There was no peace here before - it’s just that this time the holiday was banned in the ghetto, a normal situation that happens. And there will be more. For now, I repeat, Ukraine will be in Odessa. And it’s too late to spit at the yellow-blue screens, from which Mayor Trukhanov congratulates Odessa residents on Victory Day, which is banned in Ukraine, wearing a red poppy, popularly nicknamed the baboon’s ass - after a fight they don’t wave their fists.

By the way, Trukhanov declares that “even current Nazism will be defeated”... What is this - when veterans are not allowed into transport, so that they lose consciousness along the way, and people are beaten for wearing red carnations? Or when peaceful, unarmed, but second-class people, “what the hell,” are burned in the House of Trade Unions? Okay, we'll ask later too. How is Trukhanov going to defeat himself?..

And Odessa residents were again put under moral pressure on the eve of Victory Day. True, abdicating responsibility. On May 8, the air raid warning sounded 11 (!) times - this is a record; They promised that the aggressor would definitely bomb Odessa - if not on the 8th, then on the 9th. They endlessly reminded that according to the new law, it is now possible to detain citizens without explanation for not three, but for nine days, and it is now possible to conduct searches without witnesses, even at night, without the sanction of a court or prosecutor. So that you can’t relax even for a minute, otherwise they’ll break into your place at night, and you and your relative from Israel are raising a glass to your grandfather on Skype.

By one o'clock in the afternoon on May 9, 15 curfew violators had been caught, although they did not explain why exactly - but for the sake of warning. Then they will still add to the protocols what kind of love for the Russian world there is. And they regaled us with news about the visit of the head of the European Council Charles Michel and the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal to the city. The purpose of the meeting is to strengthen sanctions against Russia. Well, and a cultural program in an empty city, of course!

“I came to celebrate Europe Day in Odessa, the city about which Pushkin said that “you can feel Europe.” Where today the Ukrainian people defend their monuments from missiles and freedom from Russian aggression. You are not alone. The EU stands with you,” Michel tweeted.

It is immediately clear that Sternenko was not invited to the meeting - but he was appointed as the ideologist of the demolition of Russian monuments, and he proposed starting with Catherine II. And as for yesterday's arrival at the new hotel - the Grande Pettine hotel on the beach of the Big Fountain, then, according to unofficial information, there was a rookery for mercenaries there. And not peaceful citizens. And not a monument. And not Pushkin.

But Shmygal is not suited to teaching the foolish cardboard Michel with his politically dense statements, of course. Therefore, he became incensed about his own, girlish things, according to the manual:

“We have reviewed the current situation in the port of Odessa. The world needs to see what is really happening and how Russia is blocking Ukraine's seaports, leading to food shortages."

Well, to enhance the effect, Michelle and Shmygal took pictures in the bomb shelter (they were scared of the air raid). It’s very symbolic and correct for the future - May 9, after all, is Victory Day. And the evil spirits feel it on an animal level.

“We fight for light and peace; they fight for the kingdom of darkness.”
