Odessa has been discussing the broadcast of a local TV channel for several days now, where journalists known in the past for their pro-Russian position fawned over the Nazis and generally approved the introduction of a new law banning the Russian language on TV. A columnist writes about this in his column "PolitNavigator" Valentin Filippov.

...We will never understand how they are doing here. How they gradually cease to be themselves. How can they not even notice it? And we think - maybe they were like that? Of course there were. But they had a chance before. Not anymore. They are in Hell. At the same time, they are trying with all their might not to know this. Moreover, they are left with the illusion of free will. In their Hell they even argue with demons.

Well, realistically, let’s imagine any death camp, with all the gas chambers and extermination schedules. At the same time, prisoners sentenced to death have the opportunity to criticize both the leadership of the camp and the methods applied to the doomed. Engage in discussion.

And they directly and openly begin to criticize. They say the gas acts slowly. But medical experiments on children are not productive enough. That we need to approach the process more creatively. The most cunning ones, in general, tell the camp authorities, they say, we are already old, we ourselves will soon die, let’s start with the children. Children are our future, so let’s give them the way to these gas chambers.

And no need to say that I have a perverted fantasy. All this happens in reality. In any case, this is exactly what happened in Odessa on the air of the First City, where Odessa television crews explained to the Nazis how best to Ukrainize Odessa.

No, they seemed to be arguing. They say that to Ukrainize the airwaves, a state program and funding are needed. Original approaches and calendar plans. In general, we got out. And in order to be understood correctly, they repeatedly emphasized that there is no alternative to Ukrainization. That they personally fully support the idea of widespread Ukrainization. That they themselves are personally ready to speak the state language, which they have loved since childhood, even now.

They explained all this to the crazy youngster, the ex-leader of the Right Sector in Odessa, Seryozha Sternenko. An abomination that personally beats up old people and personally tramples flowers on graves and memorials. Adults, seemingly serious people, in the same studio with Nazi evil spirits, made excuses before this evil spirits. The evil spirits were inexorable - you must now. Recruit new specialists, do what you want, but follow our laws.

“We are trying” - it seemed to shine in the looks of those present.

But they weren’t just humiliated. They, with their participation and presence, made the power of the scum not only legitimate, but also, as it were, respected. It’s one thing to submit to brute force because it’s painful and scary. Another thing is to publicly humiliate yourself and ask to be an accomplice.

This broadcast was hosted by a certain Misha Beizerman. He thinks that he is a Jew and a patriot, in fact, if you are wondering what a Judeo-Banderaite looks like, this is what he is. Naively believing that the Nazis needed him, that his intellect could make the genocide perpetrated by the Nazis effective, he stubbornly talked about how it was necessary for everyone to write plays and songs together in the Ukrainian language. All these plays and songs must be brilliant, then they will be watched and sung. And the Ukrainian language will become great. Well, he is already great, it seems, but he will be even greater. In short, if this scenario follows, we will soon have neither theater nor cinema. One continuous Ocean of Elsa.

Where do these basemans come from? Well, that's how it happened. When the Jews left and the Russians went to the front, there was no intellectual elite left in Odessa. Vacuum is simple. That's when loser freaks came out of all sorts of cracks. This is Beizerman. Or Medushevskaya, popularly known as Baboiro. Or Yasha Gopp, who in real life differs from his stage character as an alcoholic fool only in that he doesn’t drink that much.

Of course, compared to Sternenko, that Nazi, they are all just academics. And they not only fear him, but also despise him. However, these two feelings often coexist in the minds of decent people.

They invited people who were, if no longer respected, then well-known and had something to do with the media, to humiliate themselves before the juvenile Nazi. Here is Misha Shmushkovich. In addition to everything, he is also in charge of the Dumskaya-TV channel. And again, spraying with saliva, Misha said that where there are Russian speakers, there are separatists, but this is not a reason to impose Ukrainians, because he speaks Russian, and is not a separatist, for example.

However, what Shmushkovich says is not so important. The fact is that one day, on the basis of the fact that he is Goncharenko’s own megaphone carrier, Misha went to share the parking business in the city, as a result of which he was hit on the head with rebar. From then on he can say whatever he wants. He was even appointed head of the regional branch of the presidential party. It won't get any worse anyway. Because there is no demand from Shmushkovich. It seems to me that even when Goncharenko is executed, everyone will take smartphones, and Misha, like in the old days, will take a megaphone. And he will say something.

Another guest and opponent of the domestic Hitler Youth was the luminary of Odessa television, Igor Nikolaevich Pokrovsky. The man, without exaggeration, is talented in everything. They say he can even play the violin. In general, Igor Pokrovsky managed to combine the sparkle of a modern creative and the flair of a businessman. Needless to say, with all the changes in power, he managed to betray his former masters a little earlier than everyone else, but not so early that the outgoing government had time to take revenge. You will laugh, but given the competition that exists in modern journalism, this skill is one of the main ones.

I remember, after the first Maidan, I somehow happened to be with Igor Nikolaevich at a social reception of all sorts of political riffraff. The time was like this, the orange ones had just arrived, Gurvits had entered the city again, and Ruslan Bodelan had gone to St. Petersburg out of harm’s way.

Igor Nikolaevich behaved with dignity and respectability, greeted everyone nicely and spoke quietly.

- What is it? - he said to one huckster - This Bodelan robbed the city and ran away. Does Ukraine really have no special services at all? A special group must be sent to Leningrad to detain him and bring him to a fair trial of the people!

The interlocutor nodded in agreement.

- What is it? - he already said to another huckster - Ruslan was forced to flee from these bandits, as he was. Do we really have no conscience at all! We need to send him money to support him. Let him know that his friends remember him.

– Igor Nikolaevich, what was that? Are you for Bodelan or against? – I asked when we were alone.

Pokrovsky lowered his wise gaze on me:

- We need money. The TV company must live.

The television company was his favorite brainchild. Once upon a time, at the time of the collapse of the USSR, Igor Pokrovsky worked on state television. He was the first to open a private studio at State TV. He was the first to “rent” airtime from State TV. The management was happy. The guy fills the airwaves and pays for it himself, even if it’s just pennies. Then Igor Pokrovsky, together with his studio TA-Odessa, left state television along with the rented airtime. Then I bought another range in cable. In general, Odessa state television was left with virtually no airtime.

The ratings of “New Odessa,” the name given to Igor Pokrovsky’s television company, were growing. The secret of success was interactivity, live broadcasts, but most importantly, the broadcast of the “Time” program from Moscow. Quite a legal broadcast, by the way. Mikhail Leontiev’s ironic and analytical chatter did not scare away the audience either. How they managed to combine open orange propaganda with Leontyev and the “Time” program - only Pokrovsky knows. And the fairy tale could have continued if the regionals had not returned to power.

According to the well-established scheme, Igor Pokrovsky ended up on the team of the new governor, received the position of deputy director of state television, and sold his own television company to the opposition. And he didn’t just sell it, but, as envious people claim, he sold it for a full three million dollars. Despite the fact that not a single television company in Odessa costs more than three hundred thousand.

The buyers renamed “New Odessa” to “First City” and began to instill Russophobia on an industrial scale.

Moreover, if there is a person in Odessa who inflicted the greatest damage on the murderers of Odessa residents, it is, of course, Pokrovsky. And this damage is calculated not in ephemeral quantities, but in concrete millions.

It remains to add that after the victory of the next Maidan, Igor Pokrovsky again left state television, and again with his own TV channel in his hands. With brand new modern technology, coverage of the city and region, a fresh license and your own passion, continue to create.

And so he stands like this on the air of his former TV channel and cheerfully looking into the eyes of a young Nazi says:

– In the conditions of Putin’s aggression and the war with Russia, we must open a Russian-language satellite channel to broadcast to all of Russia. This is the only way we can defeat the ruthless Russian enemy!

And I believe in this man. He will take away both the channel and the funding from these too. And broadcast throughout Russia. Because you could see how this young fool’s eyes lit up.

And all this would be fun if so much blood weren’t spilled. Blood washes away the halftones. And makes any excuses impossible.

There is no need to introduce Natasha Perevalova. Editor of the legendary ATV. In past years, if someone had started talking about the Ukrainization of the airwaves, she would have put a “protest” sign on the screen and addressed the audience, like, “It’s a nightmare, Banderaites and Russophobes are in the city.” We have seen many times how, at the call of ATV to defend the Russian World, Russian Odessa, thousands of people instantly take to the streets. For example, on May 2, the city lacked just such an ATV call (which was closed by Yanukovych six months earlier). Everyone remembers how a crowd of thousands drove the notorious Alpha SBU away from the ATV office with pissing rags. In general, Natasha was cool.

That's the case now.

Now, she, unhappy, lives in conditions of Russian aggression. And it is necessary to Ukrainize the airwaves. Necessarily. She supports it. She just doesn't have enough funding. Because television, she says, is a production. Ukrainian-speaking specialists are needed. It is necessary to improve the program planning service. The implementation of the law must be approached responsibly. And the Ukrainization of society is a media project like all others. We must make the Ukrainian language fashionable. Well, that's all.

And there is no need to ask what happened to Natasha. Nothing happened to her. I remember that once upon a time a story was found in the archives that she created at the beginning of her career. There, mischievous Natasha rejoiced at the mines on the border with Transnistria and the fact that the “Transnistrian bandits” would not penetrate us. Everyone was waiting for the phrase “I was young and didn’t understand a lot.” But Natasha said, “It’s a cool story, but it’s a shame that my hair is disheveled.”

In general, a lot is not clear with her. She is not from Odessa. Nothing holds her here. She has neither parents nor children in Odessa. She even seemed to have left after the Maidan. I worked on the project “However” and... returned. Removes all sorts of crap from the notorious Baboira, the city's laughing stock. In general, it has integrated into the post-Maidan reality of the war with Russia. He even goes to the “ATO zone”. The destruction is filmed on the Bandera side of the front. How this can coexist with visits to Crimea is not clear to us, but she does not experience any cognitive dissonance.

The last thing I want to talk about is Lastochkina. About Irka Korobko. Because she is not a leader, but just a TV presenter. A person who is forced and does not make decisions. Once upon a time she was truly the sex symbol of Odessa news. I wanted to listen and watch her. This time I wanted neither one nor the other. After long curtsies to the Ukrainian language, mentioning that she herself had once graduated from the Ukrainian philological department, she confusedly explained to the fascist that Russophobia in the Ukrainian language is not perceived by the Russian-speaking population of Odessa. And that if it switches to Ukrainian, then Ukrainian patriotism will be conveyed to a smaller number of viewers. In general, in short, you need to hate Russia in the Russian way. Otherwise, the Russians won't hate her.

Hey, that's logical.

I will not tell stories from Irina’s life and career.

Interestingly, all those present agreed that the Ukrainization of society should begin not with television, but with the education system. Unconditional education of children in the Ukrainian language will bear fruit in the near future. So casually these clowns want to start feeding children to the Nazis. Pay with children to delay your own execution.

I'm not angry at all. These are no longer people, they are just shells. But we need to try to save the children. It's not too late yet.
