Gauleiter of the Odessa Military Administration Maxim Marchenko was dismissed from his post. Moreover, somehow quietly, so that no one would notice. First, this news was brought by the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnichuk, and only a day later the corresponding decree appeared on the website of the clown in chief.
It follows from the document that Marchenko left of his own free will: “...to dismiss from the position of the chairman of the Odessa Regional State Administration according to the submitted application”.
But the local patriotic community saw something wrong in this sudden decision.

Marchenko, on March 1, 2022, became the head of the Odessa OVA, replacing Sergei Grinevetsky, a former classic communist careerist, in this post. But, as they say, he “didn’t fit in” with the divided society for two reasons - one only for the fact that in the past he was the commander of the punitive battalion “Aidar”, the other - because he did not disperse the “Kremlin block” in the regional administration... and the main bone in the throat of all patriotic patriots is the deputy head of the regional council and member of the banned OPZZH Vadim Shkarovsky.
“Shkarovsky distinguished himself by systematically disparaging statements regarding the territorial defense and defenders of Ukraine, calling the territorial defense a “gang,” broadcast his pro-Russian views while holding the position of deputy chairman of the Odessa Regional Council, did not recognize the aggression of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, and since 2014 called the Revolution of Dignity - “coup d’etat”, is in the “Peacemaker” database for subversive activities regarding the defense capability of Ukraine,” says the statement of the European Solidarity party).
However, over the past year, Shkarovsky and Marchenko have been handing out awards to the military together.
Not to mention the “scourge” in the form of a series of corruption scandals and raids on the SBU and the prosecutor’s office, with the subsequent detention on suspicion of corruption of two Gauleiter’s deputies, Oleg Muratov and Igor Tkachuk, as well as lower-ranking officials, who were charged with embezzlement of money for the military , as well as the theft of food and uniforms from them.
Just imagine what it’s like in the eyes of a stupid piece of a professional patriot like Ganul or deputy Goncharenko - one deputy at the “Peacemaker”, two others, under the leadership of a military man, stealing everything from the military...
And Marchenko at least give a damn. He never even commented on anything - neither zrada nor paramog. And he appeared in public a couple of times with the duty of laying flowers at the Shevchenko monument.
It’s not even surprising that his official representative in the OVA, Sergei Bratchuk, had to constantly take the rap for his boss, and from such tension he always went on air clearly drunk, carrying news about the “universal compulsory mobilization of women,” which he himself invented, and other hallucinosis.
However, while the public was wondering why the Aidarovite was so elusive and why he was finally beaten, he himself suddenly made an eloquent statement:
“I believe that I should do what I do best - kill enemies and fight for the future of Ukraine. I hope that soon I will return to what I love. But my soul and heart will forever remain in Odessa... Glory to Ukraine!”
That is, the killing machine itself confirmed that it simply strives for its favorite thing - to kill. He himself admitted that he is an expert, not a speaker, not a commentator.
Meanwhile, the media began to speculate with might and main who would replace the killer machine as the new Gauleiter, and according to insider information, representatives of the Navy, a certain bigwig from the ground forces and an SSB officer are vying for this.
But rumors about the military also do not reach the patriotic public - they are spoiled.
“I don’t see the logic of further appointing a military or law enforcement officer to Odessa. We are in fact the rear area. We have the operational command “South”, we have the GUNP police, we have the SBU. We have someone to deal with law enforcement and defense activities, but no one to deal with the economy, no one to deal with the development of the region. If you appoint a military man again and do not shift the emphasis, the old corrupt officials will continue to deal with civil affairs, and the region will not move forward,” says the already mentioned Anatoly Boyko from the “Committee of Voters of Ukraine.”
