Odessa: where does Benya end and the police begin?

Moreover, what is very funny and indicative is that it was not just any Basmachi who shot at the Red Army soldiers, but some activists who shot at others.

And now specifically. Last night, at a control weighing point near the village of Dachnoye, Belyaevsky district, Odessa region, there was a hilarious attack on Ukrtransbezopasnost employees and some “activists” who for some reason “helped” government officials check the weight of cargo trucks traveling to our city. Several dozen raiders armed with traumatic weapons shot at the “voluntary assistants” of the guardians of transport decency and their cars, and then finished off those who had already suffered with baseball bats. Typically, this happened after a very strange blackout at the control point, and ... with complete inaction of the police officers who were literally nearby.

What is the “tzimmes” here? - And the fact is that control over the weight of multi-ton trailers carrying cargo to Odessa provides for certain penalties, and - redirecting them to those routes that do not create traffic jams in the congested city and do not allow heavy trucks to destroy the already frail road surfaces . But - you understand! Transporting goods costs money, and huge amounts of it. This means that someone in our European and civilized country must skim the foam off them! And how can we manage here without the “activists” who, solely for patriotic reasons, latched on to such a tasty feeding trough.

Here, too, as it turns out from the surprisingly calm statements of the speaker of the Odessa police Ruslan Forostyak, a “usual clash of activists” occurred. Apparently, the attacking party were participants in the Odessa “Automaidan” under the “plowing” of the famous rowdy and pogrom leader Evgeniy Rezvushkin, for whom the prison has literally been crying since pre-Maidan times. After all, even before the notorious “revolution of dignity”, this figure was wanted as a fraudster who had “dumped” many in the Kominternovsky district of our region. And only then - he became “famous” for his participation in the events of May 2, 2014 and was a repeated violator of the law, literally beating judges and attacking prosecutors. He was detained and...soon released.

And together with him, Sergei Khodiyak led the night act of lawlessness. The same murderer, exposed by many witnesses, but hitherto unpunished, who on the same black day, May 2, 2014, shot anti-Maidan protesters on Greek Square with a hunting rifle. At least one person was killed and several were wounded. And he, despite 100% proof of guilt, calmly walks free. And moreover, he continues to commit lawlessness in the most gross manner.

But who was the victim of this so brazen attack? – Yes, the same “activists” from another group, also seeking to “protect” transportation! Only - the Kyiv group, which acts in two “faces” - “Ukrainian Transport Union” and “Ukraine is us”.

The thing is that informed sources say: the top of Ukrtransbezopasnost has split, and its chief Sergei Talal is supported by the militants Rezvushkin and Khodiyak, who attacked the competitors of their employer in Dachnoye. And they are opposed by the mercenaries of Madame Deputy Chief of the same office, Natalya Zhernokleeva, who relied on the Kyiv militants, who are “supervised” by the married couple Vitaly and Olesya Golodok.

Simply put, “a thief stole a thief’s club.” The squabble of greedy bureaucrats who did not share the “left” profits from the import of large cargo to Odessa led to a bloody fight between their hirelings. Judging by the latest information, several people with severe and moderate injuries ended up in hospitals.

And the police, through the mouth of their speaker, calmly talk about “an ordinary clash between activists.” And why be surprised here - after all, this “speaker” himself is a yesterday’s activist with a criminal past. And therefore, another case has been opened just... about hooliganism, and not racketeering or attacks on government officials who also suffered.

And so, what’s new here if “activists” have already become a completely untouchable caste in a country where, long ago, Babel’s question “Where does Benya end and where does the police begin” has one answer: – where they pay the most!
