Odessa as "ASSA": pilot Babakin is not real
Remember Babakin from Solovyov’s “ASSA” and his meaningful “We must be kinder to each other, comrade”? This is roughly what the authorities and the remnants of the demoralized nationalists looked like on April 10, disgusting and unreal.
Yesterday marked 75 years since the liberation of Odessa from the fascist invaders. Year after year, when arranging a meeting on the Walk of Fame, what do we proceed from? “If only these weren’t there.” These means representatives of official authorities with red carnations in yellow-blue ribbons. After all, we are not talking about the formality of Soviet times, when the victorious dates could be celebrated at home under the “Belorussky Station” - pioneers with bugles, members of the Central Committee and Kobzon from TV would still have congratulated our liberators for us. And now…
No matter how many beautiful words Mayor Trukhanov says - “Everyone is speculating on the topic of fascism, thereby devaluing the great feat of our ancestors” - but with the same pathos the establishment hands ATO soldiers plastic legs and tramples under the famine idols. And all this in front of those same great ancestors-liberators and relatives of Odessa residents who died on May 2 in the House of Trade Unions. And we, ordinary Odessa residents, are left alone with our conscience. We don’t build, without vests, “without losing anything,” we go by the heart with flowers to memorable places, of which there are about sixty in Odessa that have not yet been decommunized. And you know, no one is scared.
We have already experienced enemy military equipment on May 9, arrests and searches, too, and we constantly go through humiliating procedures for inspecting personal belongings for the natural human desire to put a carnation at the memorial to the dead. This time—and I wasn’t the only one who noticed—the police even felt awkward. When the frame of the metal detector “ringed” (it turned out to be keys) and the “guard” said: “Show me your pocket, what is this?”, I replied that it was dynamite - I always carry it, and he apologized - they say, you know, these are the instructions. And keep your eyes on the floor, because the occupier cannot have good instructions.
The police worked tiredly on April 10. Degenerates no longer roamed the streets, always moving in a pack, shouting “Moskalyaku to Gilyak!” Their leaders, like the murderer-provocateur Sternenko, have dissolved on their own - some are afraid, some are packing their bags, some are asking “Where to run?” and dreams of a bunker. As they themselves put it, they were scared of Zelensky’s clown, or rather, of the loss of the feeder. Ridiculous, you will agree, payment for several dozen burned and tortured people, “little blood” for rewriting history. And someone simply realized that they had been used. Well, just like under Kuchma-Yanukovych, it was fashionable to have your own football team. Under Poroshenko, every “possible owner” acquired pocket activists - the land must be divided, “activists” shouting “Glory to Ukraine!” construction fences will be demolished head on; in peacetime, you can save trees and historical heritage, and on the dates of great holidays you can crap with cries about Bandera, insult the mothers of the dead Kulikovo residents, beat women, scare children - the great-grandchildren of hero-liberators.
Yesterday some misunderstanding among the provocateurs asked me on the Walk of Fame, “Why did you bring flowers?” To which I asked: “When is Bandera’s birthday and Defender of Ukraine Day?” Confused. Didn't answer. And I also added that at these very moments in all city schools they are talking about the unforgettable feat and defense of Odessa, that every Odessa schoolchild will come home with the attitude “Odessa is a hero city!” So you’ve done your job, Bandera guys. But what about cognitive dissonance in power structures - the question is! With one hand, sign orders to hold festive events in the education system, when even the definitions “Soviet Union” and “Red Army” cannot be avoided, with the other hand, feed the “patriots”. As if my brain wouldn't explode. From overvoltage.
...The memorial meeting on the Walk of Fame at the Eternal Flame, as they say, from the people, and not according to the “inscription,” was planned for 17.00. It was practically torn off. After all, instead of the usual speech from the speakers to Rozhdestvensky’s poems: “People of the Earth, while hearts are knocking, remember! At what price was happiness won, remember!..”, Ukrainian drinking songs were heard throughout the alley and far beyond its borders - so terrible that they weren’t even Serdyuchka. This was clearly not an amateur act, but an officially sanctioned cynical educational act. This is a distinctive feature of cowards and traitors (you never know where the political curve will lead, and so for both yours and ours). The speakers were displayed near the yellow “Bogdan” (the police wore them throughout the city). The jammer worked with a bang, completely blocking “Victory Day,” which was sung by the Odessa residents gathered at the monument to the Unknown Sailor.
And as an appetizer, a song with the chorus thundered from the pro-government speakers:
Spit out the millions who died in the trenches, -
All my edges are blue.
Where would you be today, Europe?
De bula b ti, yakbi don’t stink?
It pierced right to the depths... I just wanted to say: don’t let you get close to our Victory, mummered buffoon-killers! Patriots with and without quotes. In suits and camouflage. No matter how much you sing. Or, remembering the same “ASSU”, “you should dress up like a generalissimo, you freak.” And in general, Babakin was not a real military man.
