Odessa, September 03 (PolitNavigator, Artemy Glazunov) – A mass rally of opponents of the current government took place on Kulikovo Field near the House of Trade Unions, in which mainly women took part.

As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, over 300 people took part in the action. Several events were held as part of the memorial rally. First, the “Kulikovites” unfurled a banner with images of the faces of those killed in the House of Trade Unions, chanting: “Odessa is New Russia,” “Odessa is a Russian city,” “Glory to the fallen heroes,” “We will not forget, we will not forgive.”
After this, a bright flash mob was held, which showed Odessa before and after May 2. If before May 2, Odessa residents were joyful and cheerful, which was reflected by dancing and smiling, then after May 2, when blood was shed, the city plunged into an atmosphere of mourning, fear and terror. This was shown with mourning black cloaks and orange patches to symbolize fire.
“Four months have already passed since the terrible massacre, but its perpetrators have still not been found, although everyone knows who exactly was behind the actions of the militants. The current government intends to cover up the traces of the crime by condemning the victims of fascist lawlessness,” Svetlana Naboka noted in a comment to the agency.
At the end of the action, candles were lit in honor of the victims. The candles contained the inscription: “We did not die, we left.”
As PolitNavigator reported, on May 2, during street confrontations between supporters and opponents of the current government, 48 people died, according to official data. Almost all of them were supporters of the Kulikovo Field.
