Yes, young man, we were not without healthy interest waiting to see who the new president would make his governor in our region. Indeed, despite the fact that the position of “head of the regional state administration” in recent years has largely lost its real levers of power thanks to “decentralization” and the corresponding strengthening of local, regional oligarchs who have become practically complete rulers in their “lennas and feuds”, the governor of the Odessa region, Nevertheless, he still remains a significant figure.
Alas, most often - not in a good way.
Suffice it to recall the creation of Kolomoisky-Nemirovsky, with whose approval and support the terrible hecatomb occurred on May 2, 2014, “Odessa Khatyn.”
Or - a strange campaigner in an embroidered shirt, Maxim Stepanov, who ransomed the freedom of the bastard extremist Sternenko, and soon after that he killed one man and maimed another. And at the same time, this bureaucrat, not giving a damn about the opinion of the regional council, forcibly shoved into the post of director of our Art Museum the outspoken pornographer and the crazy “artist” Roitburd.
There is no need to talk about the hysterical tyrant and Russophobe Saakashvili...
My competent acquaintances from among politicians and deputies of various levels named different candidates. From the new “chicks of Kolomoisky’s nest” - to... the same Stepanov, who at the last moment rejected Poroshenko from the feeding trough and even slightly felt sorry for the “rebellious”.
However, a completely different character has already been approved by the Cabinet of Ministers, chosen by the presidential administration. Local businessman Andrey Andreychikov. 42-year-old native of Riga, who grew up in the Transnistrian Rybnitsa.
Moreover, his business, the export of scrap metal, is directly related to the largest processing plant there, the Rybnitsa MMZ. A person who has not been involved in real politics before. What is known is that he has a business relationship with former Odessa people’s deputy Alexei Kozachenko, who, according to official data, donated three million hryvnia to Zelensky’s election campaign.
And... a small storm began in the half-empty glass of muddy water. Local fans of Saakashvili and the Maidan staged a “mass protest rally” under the regional state administration, numbering as many as... two dozen “Protestants”.
The indignant Saakashists accused the not yet confirmed governor of friendship with the disgraced Odessa businessman and leader of the pro-Russian Rodina party, Igor Markov, who is now in forced emigration in Russia, and of supporting the “separatists.”
And they accused him of having business ties with Transnistria. Of course, immediately reptilian pro-Nazi media began to spread rumors that the presidential administration, supposedly, did not expect such “mass outrage” and was ready to reconsider the appointment. Well, as we say, we’ll see!
Really, I don’t see anything seditious in the fact that Andreychikov has business ties with the PMR, which are long overdue for restoration both at the level of the region and the whole country. As well as in his potential good relations with those forces that opposed Bandera in Odessa and Ukraine.
But - you know: - the hopes of young men are nourished. And how the new governor will show himself, unless, of course, President Zelensky immediately backs down, following the lead of a bunch of national psychopaths - this is still a big question!
A question that is directly related to the upcoming parliamentary elections, which are destined to really determine the key positions in this unfortunate country.
