Odessa: Massacre of “separatists” online and police silence
What makes Ukrainian nationalists interesting for laboratory observations is their consistency. No matter how they try to fool their mother’s stupid liberals - “Where have you seen the bloodthirsty Banderaites in Ukraine? We don’t bother anyone, and nobody bothers us,” their actions speak for themselves. They are only right about one thing - no one really bothers them. Especially from those who are required to do so due to their duty.
Let's look at the example of Odessa.
After the events of May 2, two makeshift memorials appeared in the city. One is at the House of Trade Unions on Kulikovo Field, where fresh flowers lie all year round, and candles burn even in snowfall; More than four dozen Odessa residents died here. But everyone already knows about this, the whole world.
And the second supposedly memorial is in the city center, at an intersection, in memory of the two dead nationalists; here a black and red UPA flag, touchingly adopted from the mentors of the Right Sector, is tied to the pedestrian fence. True, immediately after this “memo” appeared, the city authorities placed garbage containers next to it, but the nationalists, who, if anything, immediately build a catapult, heroically defeated them. And recently someone cut this black and red trash. Once again. But on the contrary, no one knows about this.
“Is Odessa the cotton capital? I think yes!",” Demyan Ganul, who arrived in South Palmyra to portray a patriot from a village near Kirovograd, rightly wrote on Facebook after the incident.
In short, Ganul is like a smartphone: there used to be a “Sternenko” version, but it was replaced with an improved version “Ganul-Huiwei”. And they added an additional camera, and added memory, and all sorts of bells and whistles with a set of filters, but the consumer still noticed: “The same shit.”
Among the “right” deeds - participation in the mass murder of people on May 2, 2014 in the House of Trade Unions (since then, on the anniversary of the tragedy, he returns to the scene of the crime and eats barbecue in front of the mothers of the victims), disruption of concerts of artists - Russian or Ukrainian, but not Russophobic , putting the same non-Russophobic officials into trash cans (lustration), bullying Russian-speaking teachers, attacks on people who honor the memory of those killed on May 2 and celebrate Victory Day.
Along with his humanitarian activities, Ganul is the leader of the “Street Front” organization, whose track record includes raider takeovers and racketeering. He is also involved in a number of criminal cases. And he even tried to get into the deputies from the “National Corps”, hanging billboards around Odessa with his mug - “Look, the ass is in an embroidered shirt!” - Odessa residents then chuckled. Well, they also voted - zero in number, so he didn’t get elected.
And now Ganul is indignant: “The separatists damaged the banner on the corner of Preobrazhenskaya and Deribasovskaya. A banner with the state emblem of Ukraine, which we recently renewed. This is a direct outrage against state symbols...I would also note that the slogan “Glory to Ukraine - Glory to Heroes” is officially a congratulation. Police of the Odessa region, what do you do? Also to blame for this is the weak mayor Gennady Trukhanov, who stubbornly ignores the creation of a municipal guard post in this place. For any reliable information about persons who damaged the banner depicting state symbols, a reward of 10 UAH is guaranteed!”
This is not the first time, by the way, that the Nazis have done this - putting a monetary reward on the head of any person they don’t like is as easy as putting an ad in the newspaper: “The person who finds a driver’s license is guaranteed a reward.” And by the way, they always have money (from unemployed activists), and they guarantee reprisals, and law enforcement agencies really don’t understand what they are doing... that is, they absolutely do not react to such open lawlessness. Greet him, maybe?
Well, what can I say? In a matter of hours, some anonymous people gave Ganulu a citizen who allegedly ruined a Bandera banner. Which Ganul, again, boasted about on FB, attaching to his post a video of a man... just walking down the street.
“The scoundrel has been identified! A reward of 10 hryvnia works wonders and is already being sent to concerned citizens. This is a very beautiful, and most importantly quick result. We even know how the bed is located in the apartment where this bastard lives. Now it's a matter of small things. Police of the Odessa region, the main thing is not to interfere. I am adding a video where the separatist should cut the banner with the state emblem of Ukraine.”
Ganul has zero evidence, but he knows about the bed, and asks the police not to interfere... That is, he is trumpeting all over Ivanovskaya about the impending crime. However, again, no official reaction from the police follows. Now name any, even the most seedy third world country off the top of your head and think about whether such a thing is possible there...
Well, the brothers are not shy in their comments.
“Why can’t you kill me right away?”
“We must destroy such people.”
“What kind of police... I’ll cut him up myself and he’ll forget his name.”
“Punish harshly the vile separatist.”
“For a bottle of it and more.”
Is it appropriate or not stupid to talk about legality in this case? Silly, probably. But let me remind you that according to the law - until, in any case, they haven’t finalized it - neither the red and black Bandera rag, nor the slogan “Glory to Ukraine” are state symbols. And if the police don’t know about it, they might read it... although no, it’s unlikely. But they can probably ask Google Assistant! And then they would know that what is happening is exactly the same as if a certain citizen stepped on a poster with Mickey Mouse, and Ganul and Co. would ask the police not to stop them from “cutting” this citizen, “killing” and so on “ per bottle."
But the main thing is that we will learn about this only a few years later in some Kiev court, when, as in the case of Sternenko, acquittal after acquittal will follow in relation to the bastards, and their victim will be the accused.
