«Some kind of parade of Moscow demons has been going on lately with their antics“, complained the head of the Southern Interregional Department of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory, Sergei Gutsalyuk-Sharikov, describing the situation in Odessa. "Some cotton separators","They are the ones who have read Putin’s articles","hydota","collaborators", "boycott!“- such “additional inquiries” poured out from all the cracks into which the patriotic public could only crawl.

Well, again - the cashier answered in Russian, the water in the sea is wet, they showed cats in the circus, or your head didn’t fit into the mayonnaise jar?.. The fact is that the blogger-activist, who recently caused a scandal in a supermarket because both visitors and security guards spoke Russian, she gave her subscribers advice to defend themselves from Russian speakers by “mentally putting a mayonnaise jar on your head,” and her colleagues really liked this life hack. Well, this is so - to understand what the patriotic public represents in principle.

However, this time the patriots discovered the “parade of Moscow demons” not in the supermarket, but in another place (after all, it is everywhere). It turned out that a certain Kiev publishing house “Belka” complained that the management of the Odessa book festival-fair “Green Wave” refused to allow him to participate.

It would seem, where is reading, and where is the institute of national memory, because it is unlikely that its apologists read anything other than instructions for the “toilet duckling” in the Kyrgyz language, sitting on the push, enjoying it.

«The reason for the refusal is the subject of our books, what and how we talk about the war", - said representatives of Belka. They referred to a conversation with the festival manager, reporting his words as follows: “Our emphasis is on a children's program, an entertainment format, we do not have military literature... We do not want this to provoke conflicts during the festival».

Well, then the “overwhelm” went: “We, as a young publishing house, learned about the festival, its organization and participants of previous years, and were amazed by the composition, general orientation, the evening in memory of Zhvanetsky and the fact that all this action takes place with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation. We are not sure that an event that deliberately ignores seven years of war in our country, in particular, a powerful layer of military literature, can be called cultural... We are definitely going to present our books in Odessa, because in the city that so decisively stopped the Russian world on May 2, 2014 , there are definitely people who are interested in our books».

Then “peaceful cultural publishers” threatened Odessa residents with revenge from veteran organizations in the spirit of “Bandera will come and restore order", and human scum, who also consider May 2 as victory day, began to practice pouring slop on the festival website.

The technique is proven and proven. Therefore, without waiting for the “bookworms” to come to the book stalls with Molotov cocktails, the leadership of the Green Wave made excuses and apologies.

«Our resources unexpectedly became the target of an information attack from hundreds of indignant users. We conducted an internal investigation and this is what turned out... Our manager admits that she said something ridiculous... But it happened, unfortunately. We, as the organizers of the festival, apologize to the representatives of Belka, who, of course, are outraged by this incident. We invite the Belka publishing house to participate in the book fair-festival».

Ku three times.

But before, the Green Wave, which turns 25 this year, was a prestigious event. In the nineties, when the Internet was just being founded and the book shortage was felt more acutely than ever, it was a breath of fresh air and a window into the civilized world. And first of all, as you might guess, because of Russian publishing houses and meetings with Russian writers. Odessa residents flocked to the Green Wave. True, when the first works about the life of Ukrainian nationalists and all sorts of “haute couture revolutions” by Korchinsky began to appear on the shelves, the fair died down to a light surf, and after the coup of the 14th year it completely turned into a dead calm.

It is as clear as two and two that no one will buy the dregs into which the publishing house from Kyiv translates the Carpathian forests. And since the rest of the festival participants are about the same, my heart senses that it will soon die out, mutating from a truly international event into another farm festival of feta cheese and “bjolyarstvo”. Considering his treacherous scent, it’s not a pity.

Another thing is that handing over your employees, bending to aggressive farmers, has already become a system. This is what educational institutions, retail chains, supermarkets, public catering, and now “bibliophiles” do. And soon the situation will worsen, since on July 16, another set of norms of the “language law” came into force, according to which “all concerts, show programs, cultural, artistic, entertainment, entertainment events” must be held in Ukrainian, including “demonstrations of films and excursion service."

Can you imagine these excursions?

“And the axis here was bula butsegarnya - to the river, see, otherwise the tseglyn will get stuck. And the axis there, on Rosie, de piznishe, saw the blueberry, Ilya Ilf and Evgen Petrov - behind the old Molfar legend - and they said their dyvovyzhne “zavantazhuyte pomaranchi dizhkami”, huh?!. And teper ydemo pidkop pid more dyvytysya”...

However, this is logical. If laws are made for those who wear mayonnaise jars on their heads.
