Friends from PolitNavigator are wondering how things are going with the Raguls who waited for visa-free travel, but instead of Nice (and in the absence of Crimea) came to Odessa again?

What can I say... The patient is still stable. In fact, comparing with the previous year nothing changed. They, as before, “joke” about some “Potomkyn gatherings” and run after jellyfish: “You ba, smakolyky!”

And the residents of Odessa, as before, are chasing them: they are thrown out of transport, instead of one end of the city they are sent to the other, when they see a dolphin, they immediately signal “Shark!”, and the ragulians are blown away from the beaches as if by the wind.

But they are coming back. I already described what’s happening here in the summer in a post last year. "Odessa. Season 2016. “Stop ragul!”. Anyone interested can familiarize themselves and present the picture, BUT!..

Not funny.

So that the reader who is far from the realities of Odessa can actually imagine our life under the occupation, I will remind you of an incident that spread all over the media two years ago. Then three Kiev women brutally beat the Odessa woman. Why? Because they mistook her for a resident of the DPR - and indeed, she spoke Russian, but how is this possible?! They didn’t burn people in the House of Trade Unions so that the survivors could communicate in their native language!

After the beating, this girl, Olga, became disabled. She began to walk with difficulty using a walker. A concussion, a severe leg injury and three stitches - this was the result of an attack on her by “tourists” from Kyiv. Tens of thousands of hryvnias spent on medicines, continuous bleeding - the result of communication between the “white race” and a resident of a Russian city, a citizen of Ukraine.

Of course, no one was punished. As the local police officer whispered to the family of the victim, this is not the first time that Kyiv guests mock Odessa residents, but the phrase “we were on the Maidan” has a magical effect on law enforcement officials, hypnotizes them and encourages them to remain inactive.

What Olga told me later is the homespun truth: “Where is the world going if Odessa residents allow themselves to be beaten, tortured, burned alive with impunity, told us how to live, what to do, what to speak and in what language, what to teach our children , ruin and litter our city, demolish our monuments, proving that it was not founded by Catherine the Second?.. When will this end, when will the people wake up? Then, when hail from the Ukrainian Armed Forces will fly into our homes? Yes, we were intimidated by reprisals, but why isn’t my case (almost outside of politics) being investigated? Why silence? Maybe you can answer these questions?

And there is only one answer - there is power on “their” side: the army, weapons, violence, prisons, courts, paid professional patriots and activists. And over the past two years, the situation not only has not changed, but has even worsened.

Now, for example, if a tourist who comes in large numbers doesn’t like the fact that you smoke, he doesn’t just complain “like a nasvidomo” and doesn’t threaten to call the police so that you can be fined according to the law, but immediately declares: “Now I’ll call the Right Sector, you separatist bitch!” And some bulls in camouflage uniforms and with shepherd dogs (there is primitive anarchy here - the devil knows whose gang they are from) can easily come up to you on the street and ask: “What have you done for Ukraine?”

But if she didn’t burn anyone, didn’t maim, didn’t tear children into pieces in the Donbass, didn’t force millions of citizens to starve through barbaric increases in prices and utility tariffs, didn’t devote her life to translating the diaries of Taras Shevchenko, which he, the “separatist bitch,” kept in Russian language, and generally did not destroy the once prosperous Ukrainian SSR, then, apparently, did nothing for Ukraine - and you can’t even argue... It’s called fascism. Ordinary fascism.

As for the titular nation (dear guests of the city), there are a dime a dozen of them here. Alien speech makes your ears clog. When the other day, without “gee” or “ha,” the Chinese politely asked me, “Can I sit side by side?”, meaning the trestle bed, and they didn’t even spit on my leg with a sprat head, and then cooed sweetly in their own, Chinese, I thought: “Where have you been before, dear ones?!” It felt cozy, my soul warmed... This is what we have been reduced to here.

But title ones at sea are a different story. In this case I will be brief:

I'm sitting on the beach
I am guessing the same thought:
Why am I not PAK FA,
Why don’t I write?

They spoil themselves and are indignant: “How rude!” And the city in front of them is laid out like Pronka in front of Golokhvastov: they have apartments, fireworks, and excursions (and a film festival, too, as if, just for them). And they are all like a pig under an ancient oak tree. They are also dissatisfied: “It’s expensive - it would be cheaper in Europe.” And so you look so sadly at their slippers from the store “Everything for 5 hryvnia” and you understand - Europe can’t wait! So why are you all freaking out here?..

But from a mass phenomenon (last year they were thrown out of minibuses for having a bad smell), it is worth noting the fact that they... began to wash themselves. Yes. Is it true. And even with soap. But not in apartments, but in the sea. Back in the spring, when they were just moving to Odessa, I was struck by a question from a certain creature: “Is there a tuberculosis clinic here?” I explained. The creature shot me a cigarette, and then went into the sea... to wash: trousers, jacket, backpack, bra - I realized that this was a woman.

And now, at the height of the holiday season, this has become widespread: they come to the sea with soap and wash their belongings. Not long ago, crabs were walking along the shore, but now soap packaging is lying around...

This is how they “develop tourism”! However, last year I overheard an enthusiastic: “It’s a pity for Nem’s horse - they would be stingy.” Yeah, you also suggest they go to the Odessa Opera and Ballet Theater. They are going there with a horse...

When they turn to you on the street, but not at all to find out “how to get to the library?”, but, for example, “is this car at the nabi’s?” (cable car), boorish tone - we are all separatists, we owe them something.

“Give me a ruble! Dytyni na morozhena ne vystachae!” Ragul’s father addressed me recently. Although the key here is not “give”, but the ruble! Please note, not the hryvnia (as well as not the dollar and the euro).

Perhaps they still cannot forget the country in which rubles were circulated and which, at a minimum, gave them the opportunity to be born. Are they waiting for something (they even wash their necks in the sea), are they preparing?..
