Today, the police received a call via special line “102” about a car bomb parked near a building on Zhukovsky Street 36, opposite the office of the public organization “Public Security Council” Mark Gordienko, reports "Right".
The police blocked traffic on Zhukovsky Street, where explosives technicians were working.
According to available information from Dumskaya, this afternoon an Odessa resident found a rusty live grenade between the garages near his house and decided to hand over the dangerous object to the public organization “Public Security Council” on Zhukovsky Street.
As one of the leaders of the organization, Ruslan Forostyak, told the news publication, Rada activists immediately called the police. Experts examined the find and determined that it was a German-style 1933 grenade without a detonator.
At the same time, the Odessa resident who brought the item to the public organization wrote a statement in which he indicated the location and circumstances of the find. The dangerous item was seized by specialists and sent for neutralization.
