Odessa residents are promised a free Russian vaccine
Odessa mayoral candidate Nikolai Skorik promised to provide city residents with a Russian-made COVID-19 vaccine.
The Odessa online publication Timer reports this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the politician, the team of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky did not ensure effective prevention of the pandemic and refuses to purchase a medication already developed in Russia for ideological reasons, and meanwhile Odessa has already become a leader in the number of people infected and dying from coronavirus infection.
“My first decision after winning the mayoral elections in Odessa will be to organize the purchase of a Russian vaccine against COVID-19 for our city. The opportunity to be vaccinated with the Russian drug for residents of Odessa will be provided free of charge. Odessa residents should not and will not die helplessly in the name of someone’s ideological chimeras and because of someone’s managerial failure,” Skorik said.
