Odessa, May 17 (Navigator, Artemy Glazunov) – A resident of Odessa tried to transfer almost 4 million UAH to a commercial structure in Kyiv, which, according to the SBU, was to be used to finance terrorist acts.

“In the course of implementing measures to combat manifestations of separatism and terrorist financing in cooperation with the State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine, a source of financing of illegal activities on the territory of Ukraine was discovered and blocked,” the SBU said.
As noted in the department's message, an attempt was made to transfer UAH 3,93 million to a commercial structure in Kyiv through the bank accounts of a resident of Odessa. as non-repayable financial assistance.
“According to the information received, the marked funds were to be used for mass riots and terrorist acts,” the SBU claims.
“The person’s bank accounts have been blocked, measures are now being taken to identify other persons involved in illegal activities,” the department said.
Criminal proceedings have been opened regarding this fact. A pre-trial investigation is underway.
