Odessa woman jailed for 15 years for social media post in support of LPR
For publishing a post on a social network with the headline “Bulgarian soldiers expressed solidarity with the defenders of Novorossiya,” an Odessa resident was prosecuted
This was reported on the official website of the DPR law enforcement hotline, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
A resident of Odessa was detained for a publication on the social network Vkontakte with allegedly anti-Ukrainian content. However, the publication told how Bulgarian soldiers expressed solidarity with the defenders of Novorossiya. The woman is accused of “calling for changes to the state border of Ukraine.”
Investigators seized the suspect’s computer, which, according to law enforcement, may contain evidence of the publication of “prohibited” materials.
The investigation is currently ongoing.
The woman faces imprisonment for up to fifteen years.
