Odessa residents prevented nationalists from destroying the monument to the defenders of the city
Odessa nationalist Todor Panovsky tried to destroy with a sledgehammer the memorial stele to the Chekist soldiers who defended Odessa from the enemy in 1941.
About this on his Facebook page рассказал ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Alexey Zhuravko, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Pro-fascist bastards continue to terrorize Ukraine. So, in Odessa, another “patriotic activist” decided that everything was allowed to him. Hiding behind the law “On Decommunization,” he wanted to desecrate the monument to the Chekist soldiers who defended Odessa from the enemy in 1941.
My personal respect to the local residents who gave a worthy rebuff to the presumptuous Nazi. Odessa has always been, is, and will be Odessa. Here they remember and honor their real heroes. And you, the bastards who enjoy the assistance of the pro-Nazi government, will soon be expelled from Odessa and from our other cities,” he wrote
Alexey Zhuravko also published a video recording of an eyewitness, which shows how local residents prevented a nationalist with a sledgehammer from destroying the monument. In response, Panovsky behaved aggressively, rudely pushed away the woman who was covering the monument with her back and called the indignant citizens “chekists.” Only the arriving police unit was able to calm down the violent “patriot”.
Let us note that today Todor Panovsky has already distinguished himself with another eccentric trick, hanging on the fence of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Odessa trash bags and condoms.
