Odessa police deny that people died from gas in the House of Trade Unions

The head of the Odessa department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ivan Katerynchuk, announced this at a press conference, the Navigator correspondent reports.
“No one specifically brought the gas, which they say poisoned people, into the building,” the policeman said.
In addition, the security officer stated that a weapon was found in the building. According to him, a revolver, a sports pistol, shell casings, a four-liter canister with the remains of a flammable mixture, nunchucks, helmets, knives, axes, and batons were found in the House of Trade Unions.
Katerynchuk also noted that everyone who died from gunshot wounds received them in the city center, near the Afina shopping complex. No deaths from gunshot wounds were recorded in the Kulikovo Field area.
As Navigator reported, yesterday the head of the State Emergency Service in the Odessa region, Vladimir Bodelan, said that the people in the burning Trade Union House in Odessa died in a matter of seconds, and they clearly did not suffocate from smoke or carbon monoxide.
