Odessa region became the leader in hatred towards Poroshenko
Nowhere is the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko viewed more negatively than in the Odessa region, and the level of indifference in the region to the electoral processes in the country is comparable to the indicators in the Luhansk region.
Historian and publicist Alexander Vasiliev stated this during a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Odessa region is the leader in Poroshenko’s anti-rating. Nowhere is he treated so negatively as in the Odessa region. Here it must be said that in general, if we look at all elections since 2014, taking such an indicator as boycott, the percentages of the Odessa region are comparable to individual districts of the Luhansk region.
That is, this is a hyper-protest region, which, rather, due to its geographical reasons, found itself outside the acute phase of the conflict. There is no enthusiasm at Poroshenko-oriented headquarters. There is even some idea that in some areas there is simply no point in spending resources on a serious fight for votes - there is so much nothing to catch Poroshenko there,” the expert said.
“No one wants to associate themselves with the war, the numbers of failed mobilization in the Odessa region are monstrous, starting in 2014 and this is still relevant,” Vasiliev added.
