According to him, the Crimean enterprises LaufferGroup “Krymhleb” and “Simferopol Bread Products Plant” were nationalized by decision of the Crimean authorities, and their debts to the subsidiary company PJSC “Subsidiary Bank of Sberbank of Russia” “Sberbank of Russia” are trying to collect from PJSC “Odessa Loaf”, which could lead to to the transfer of assets and property of an Odessa company to a Russian bank.
According to the decision of the Kyiv Economic Court of Appeal dated August 5, 2015, the debts of the enterprises “Krymkhleb” and “Simferopol Bakery Plant” to the bank “Subsidiary Bank of Sberbank of Russia” are assigned to “Odessa Loaf”.
The Odessa Loaf company does not agree with the decision of the Kyiv Economic Court of Appeal and considers claims based on the debts of Krymkhleb and Simferopol Bread Products Plant to a subsidiary bank of Sberbank of Russia unacceptable.
On August 17, Odessa Loaf filed a cassation appeal to the Supreme Economic Court of Ukraine against this court decision.
According to Andrey Yaremenko, founder of the research company ActiveGroup, Sberbank of Russia thus acts as another instrument of Russia’s hybrid war against Ukraine. The goal of Sberbank of Russia is to cause maximum damage to Ukrainian enterprises, the political scientist believes.
