Odessa “Maidanovites” set fire to tires, demanding to save soldiers from the “Debaltsevo cauldron”
Odessa, February 18 (PolitNavigator, Anna Vetvitskaya) – In Odessa, about 60 supporters of the Odessa Maidan and Automaidan staged several protests, outraged by the situation with the Debaltsevo “cauldron”, blocking the entrance to the “Dry Port”, and also picketing the Institute of Ground Forces.

A warning protest took place in Odessa. The action was attended mainly by representatives of the “Council of Public Security” and Automaidan, who demanded that the country’s top leadership resolve the situation in Debaltseve and burned tires to attract the attention of officials, Naspravdi reports.
According to one of the organizers of the action, Denis Plaksienko, according to his information, the General Staff of Ukraine only today at about 6 am issued an order to withdraw troops.
“I am very upset that our leadership knew about what was happening a week ago, and everyone was silent. And only now, when people across the country began to block roads and take to the streets, was at least some decision made,” Plaksienko noted.
Let us note that the participants of the protest action gave the military leadership a period of 24 hours to resolve the issue, and in case of non-compliance, they reported that they were capable of more radical actions.
“This is our message to Poroshenko - so that he remembers how the Maidan began. We will block the terminal until people are removed from the encirclement. The General Staff is failing the ATO,” the protesters say.
After the rally near the building of the Southern Operational Command, activists headed to the street. Black Sea Cossacks and blocked one of the terminals of the Odessa port, and also set fire to tires.
Let us add that at about 15:XNUMX the tires were extinguished and the exit from the port was unblocked.
Let us note that according to the organizers of the action, if the situation in Debaltsevo does not change in the near future, hot tires will end up in front of the administrative buildings of Kyiv.
Let us recall that earlier the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko announced the withdrawal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from Debaltseve, insisting on the absence of a “boiler”.
