Odessa Automaidan demands the release of its leader: activists staged a brawl with a “provocateur”
Odessa, February 16 (PolitNavigator, Anna Vetvitskaya) – In Odessa on the street. Pushkinskaya, activists of the “Council of Public Security” and AutoMaidanov of Ukraine besieged the regional prosecutor’s office with demands to release “AutoMaidanov” member Yevgeny Rezvushkin, who had previously been detained by law enforcement agencies.

From the very morning, more than a hundred police officers gathered near the building of the Odessa Regional Prosecutor's Office. An army armored truck was also parked near the building, Naspravdi reports.
The leader of the “Council of Public Security” Mark Gordienko and the “self-defense members” demanded the release of Rezvushkin. Automaidan activists talked about this with an employee of the prosecutor’s office Sergei Kostenko, and later the prosecutor of the Odessa region Andrei Priz came out to the protesters.
One of the activists threatened the police with the arrival of the full Aidar battalion from the front to support Rezvushkin. During a conversation with Andrey Priz, a scuffle broke out among the crowd, as a result of which a man was taken out, who was immediately called a “provocateur.” The police quickly freed the man from the hands of Automaidan activists and took him away from the scene.
Soon the protesters dispersed and promised the prosecutor that they would definitely return to the court hearing in the case of Yevgeny Rezvushkin.
As PolitNavigator reported, on February 14, in Odessa, law enforcement officers detained one of the leaders of the “Public Security Council”, Automaidan leader Evgeniy Rezvushkin because of his participation in a fight on the Krug TV channel.
