This opinion was expressed by Kiev-appointed governor Vladimir Nemirovsky on his page on the social network Facebook.

“The actions of Odessa residents aimed at neutralizing and detaining armed terrorists are considered legal. As for the police and their role in today’s events, that’s a separate conversation. We will postpone it until the situation in the region is finally stabilized,” wrote the head of the Odessa region.

In addition, Nemirovsky threatened Anti-Maidan supporters that they would be “found.”

“Organizers, perpetrators, accomplices and instigators - expect doorbells to ring. They will find you,” Nemirovsky noted.

On Friday, more than 40 people died during the confrontation between supporters and opponents of the current government in Odessa.
