Odessa Regional Council may dismiss the governor on May 5
Odessa, May 03 (Navigator, Artemy Glazunov) – The Odessa Regional Council meets for an extraordinary session on May 5 in order to appeal to the acting. O. President of Ukraine Alexander Turchynov and pass a vote of no confidence in Governor Vladimir Nemirovsky.

Navigator was informed about this by the press service of the regional council.
“Deputies of the Odessa Regional Council believe that the development of events according to this scenario was caused by the passive position and unprofessional activities of the leadership of the regional state administration and the security bloc of the region (the department of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Odessa region, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Odessa region, the prosecutor’s office of the Odessa region). In the presence of reliable information about possible provocative actions with the use of bladed weapons and firearms by opponents, appropriate response measures were not taken. This indicates evasion of the law and one’s professional duties,” the appeal will go.
“In this situation, we appeal to the acting President of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers and the Verkhovna Rada with the demand to give a proper assessment of the inaction of the leadership of the Odessa regional state administration and the security bloc in the region, their inability to ensure public order and avoid human casualties. The Odessa Regional Council expresses no confidence in the leaders of these structures,” the people’s representatives also note.
Let us note that today the absolute majority of deputies of the regional council are opponents of the Kyiv authorities and Nemirovsky, so according to forecasts, the corresponding appeal will most likely be accepted.
