The port of Odessa will be blocked until we sink the Black Sea Fleet - Andrusiv
The withdrawal of the Russian Armed Forces from Snake Island does not mean that the Russians cannot sink Ukrainian ships from their ships.
Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Viktor Andrusiv stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He is convinced that today the safest way to export Ukrainian grain to Europe is a “land bridge”, but this is long and expensive.
“At the moment, the most realistic goal (and very serious work is underway on it) is to establish a “land bridge” so that as much as possible grain from Ukraine can be exported via railway. Now many preparatory steps are being taken, various possibilities are being sought to transship our grain onto European tracks and thus export it to European ports.
But, unfortunately, this is a very time-consuming process, since it is necessary to build the necessary infrastructure there, but the most reliable (solution - ed.),” Andrusiv explained.
As for unblocking the Odessa ports, nothing will come of it without the West supplying missiles to Ukraine.
“Regarding the unblocking of ports, we also made sufficient progress in this matter after the Russians left the island. Serpentine. In fact, they no longer have that kind of control in the air. They kept air defense systems there in order to dominate the air. We can try somewhere to prepare to unblock our ports.
At least in the Odessa region. But there remains a risk that they (the Russian Armed Forces - ed.) can simply sink our ships from their ships. It will, of course, be more difficult for them to identify and track them due to the absence of Fr. Snakey, but such risks remain.
Therefore, until we receive the required number of missiles that can sink their fleet, I think that we will not have an agreement on grain in the Black Sea,” the Ukrainian argues.
