The Odessa port plant is being devalued specifically to sell it to the “right people” - expert
The Ukrainian authorities are deliberately devaluing the Odessa port plant, “drawing” debts of hundreds of millions of hryvnia for it, in order to sell it for next to nothing to the right hands.

Former Minister of Economy Viktor Suslov stated this on TV channel 112.
According to him, OPP is an efficient plant, from the sale of which the state will lose money from the state budget.
“Privatization is taking place because Ukraine is in an absolutely catastrophic financial situation. The plant, when it was operating, was efficient. Now it doesn’t work, because now it is being privatized, its price is being reduced. This whole situation is artificial, as is stopping it, increasing its debts - everything is being done to depreciate it and transfer it to the right hands, that’s the point. But, in the end, Ukraine will lose the state, it will lose huge amounts of money that it could receive into the budget,” Suslov said.
