Odessa Ze-deputy promised to turn into a movnyuk
Majoritarian deputy from Odessa, businessman Stepan Chernyavsky, elected from the Servant of the People, began his first day of work in the Verkhovna Rada with an apology in an interview with the American Radio Liberty for the fact that it is more convenient for him to communicate in Russian.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, the deputy assured that he is intensively studying the Ukrainian language in order to communicate in the Rada in “language,” even though Russian is more convenient for him.
“I’m taking courses now because that’s what happened. Because I still feel comfortable in Russian. This is how it happened historically. Therefore, I am now doing everything in order to speak Ukrainian completely without errors,” Chernyavsky promised apologetically.
Earlier, at the preparatory meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, one of the leaders of the Opposition Platform - For Life party, Vadim Rabinovich forced to speak Ukrainian.
