It states that the Odessa underground continues to operate and takes responsibility for the explosions of propaganda billboards in the city.
“The Odessa underground continues to operate. Some time ago, the occupation authorities placed billboards with threats against city residents, calls to “knock” on the SBU and pro-Nazi propaganda. Tonight, underground members blew up these structures,” says the appeal of the Odessa underground.
The video also contains the text of an appeal from the Odessa underground to advertising campaigns that installed “anti-separatist” billboards.
“With this letter, the Odessa underground officially notifies the campaigns involved in placing outdoor advertising in the city, as well as the advertising department of the Odessa City Council, the media and the city public about the following.
By placing on the streets of Odessa pro-Nazi propaganda, threats to civilians, propaganda of military or paramilitary structures that are waging a punitive war in the Donbass, as well as advertising of individual parties and politicians supporting the civil war unleashed by the Kiev junta, you are committing acts of aiding and abetting war crimes.
And when Odessa is liberated by the army of Novorossiya, all those guilty will suffer punishment, the degree of which will be proportional to their guilt.
However, the post-war trial is by no means the only thing that threatens the accomplices of the occupiers. We are the Odessa underground, ready to help achieve justice without waiting for the liberation of the city.”
As an example of such acts of retaliation, the authors of the video cite yesterday’s action of destroying billboards with propaganda of the ATO, volunteers and calls to “knock” on “everyday separatists” at the SBU.
“We warn owners of advertising space that they will have to bear, at a minimum, material losses every time they decide to place Svidomo propaganda on the streets of Odessa. And in especially difficult cases of posting openly Bandera propaganda, fair retribution will overtake them immediately, without waiting for a fair trial of the Odessa People's Republic. And this retribution will no longer be so humane,” says the appeal of the Odessa underground.
Finally, the Odessa underground appealed to the city’s advertisers with a call to “think hard every time you decide to place something like this on the streets of the historical capital of Novorossiya.”
