The deputy himself claims that he did not violate any laws when he went to Moscow.

“I’ll answer simply: “Stop teaching me how to live!” Go to f...u!!! Fucked up!!! We live in a legal state! Visiting the media of other countries is not prohibited by the laws of Ukraine! There were no anti-Ukrainian statements on my part because I am pro-Ukrainian to the core.” But, unlike you, loudmouths, I see Ukraine as peaceful and prosperous! Remembering and respecting its history! And there are millions like me!!! ...If law enforcement officers want to talk to me on this topic, I’m always open,” Giganov wrote on his blog.

On Russian TV, he stated that in Ukraine they are disappointed with Vladimir Zelensky who does not fulfill his promises, but they are confident that next time they will definitely be able to elect a normal president.

“I think that next time, which will not be far off, because ahead of schedule (early elections - approx. ed.) already smells, Ukrainians will make the right choice.

Because everyone hoped that the authorities would allow the cultural and historical values of Odessa residents, or each region, or the person to whom it is close, to honor, remember and preserve. But without Maidans, God forbid,” he said.

Bogdan Giganov also promised to achieve his return through the courts. bas-relief of Marshal of Victory Georgy Zhukov, previously dismantled by the Nazis.

“I want to say that we filed a lawsuit against Zhukov, and more than a hundred Odessa residents spoke with us. This is an absolute precedent in Ukraine; this has never happened before. Therefore, we will put Zhukov in his place,” the deputy promised.
