One of the largest banks in Ukraine steals payments from low-income people and pensioners

According to the affected beneficiaries, for the third month in a row, in order to receive the social payments guaranteed to them by the state (state assistance for child care, unemployment assistance) and pensions, they have to beg daily at bank cash desks for 50-100 UAH.
“These funds are not for a bank or even for individuals or legal entities, these are funds from the state, the state transferred them to beneficiaries. People survive on these funds. And today Delta Bank simply does not give money to citizens. At the same time, we have a clear understanding that these funds were transferred to the bank by the state. The ability to carry out any non-cash transactions using bank payment cards is also blocked,” the affected bank clients report.
Outraged people say that the Delta Bank administration does not provide any explanations, but only states the lack of cash.
“They cannot explain for what purposes they spent the transferred public funds. Moreover, the bank’s customer support service, starting from December last year, has been deceiving them by declaring that social benefit cards do not work temporarily and due to technical work,” the bank’s clients clarify.
