“I was on the Maidan because every self-respecting person could not look at the wall in the school where the portrait of a repeat offender hung and then tell the children that the truth will win and that they need to study in order to achieve something.
I organized the first Maidan kitchen, and we fed everyone: thousands of Maidan members and the boys from Berkut.
I knew the “leaders” of the Maidan well personally and had no illusions, so I never went on stage. But I didn’t think, honestly, that it would be so disgusting and so soon.
I was offended when they forced the cops to their knees and shouted “whoever doesn’t jump is a Muscovite” - I understood what this would lead to.
But it was my choice as a citizen, a resident of Kiev, a son and a father, and I respect myself for this choice! I can look people straight in the eye,” Kulikov wrote.
At the same time, the politician did not specify why, being one of the organizers and “understanding what this would lead to,” he did not dare to demand the removal of the Nazis from Euromaidan.
