One of those detained during the staged abduction of Goncharenko is dying in prison
Anatoly Slobodyanik, one of those arrested after staging of the kidnapping of Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexei Goncharenko in Odessa, is dying in prison. Ex-deputy of the Odessa City Council Igor Dimitriev reports this on his blog.

“The suspect in organizing the kidnapping of deputy Goncharenko, Lieutenant General Anatoly Slobodyanik, is dying. From the Odessa pre-trial detention center they reported that today the left side of his body failed, a doctor promptly arrived in the cell, gave an injection, and now a heart attack has been avoided. His cellmates say that he won’t last long and don’t understand why they didn’t give him house arrest - this will be 68-year-old Slobodyanik’s third heart attack, and he’s unlikely to survive it.
He was detained together with Alexander Kushnarev, the father of Odessa designer Gennady Kushnarev, who was killed in the House of Trade Unions, a week ago after a high-profile special operation.
Lieutenant Colonel Kushnarev was placed in a cell with criminals, but they say his relationship was normal. And Slobodyanik is sitting with five suspects in similar cases - organizing a series of explosions in Odessa, as well as the attempted murder of activist Gordienko.
A year ago, Igor Astakhov died of heart failure in this cell, having shot volunteer Yana Shishman and her two assistants on the threshold of his house. His heart failed six times; his cellmates pumped him out. And then they couldn’t. The ambulance took 2.5 hours, the paramedic was in charge,” writes Dimitriev.
