Ukrainians evacuated from Kathmandu at Delhi airport slept on the runway and shared one ration between three. They call the “rescue operation” mediocre and cynical.

"Mirror of the week” provides testimonies of Ukrainians who experienced evacuation from Nepal.
“I think that this rescue operation should go down in history as the most incompetent and cynical action of the state against its citizens... A few points from the words of one of the participants: They fed very well - about 30 rations for everyone (99 people plus rescuers and crew). People had to divide 1 ration into 3. Many were completely left hungry. True, at the Delhi airport, Zoryan Shkiryak fed people for his own money,” said public activist Ilya Kenigshtein on Facebook.
Also, one child was diagnosed with otitis media, but the doctors were unable to help - the necessary medications were not available. “On board, a child got an ear infection - so the doctors don’t even have banal naphthyzine. During takeoff and landing I had severe pain - otitis media. They advised me to make him yawn,” the activist said.
The path of rescuers to Ukrainian citizens in Nepal turned out to be very problematic. After arriving in Delhi, they were unable to fly either because of bureaucratic problems with the departure or because of technical problems. Upon arrival in Kathmandu this night, the plane could not begin landing due to lack of permission. During a new landing in Delhi while flying from Kathmandu, the plane struck one of the landing gear. No one was injured as a result of the incident, but the crew was forced to replace him. Citizens evacuated from Nepal are expected to arrive in Kyiv late today.
