One phone call broke the Ukrainian-American game

There really was a special operation to try to lure the so-called “mercenaries” who fought in the Donbass into the territory of Ukraine through the territory of Belarus. It was developed by American and Ukrainian intelligence agencies for more than a year, but failed after one phone call.

This was stated in an interview with Kyiv journalist Dmitry Gordon, notorious for his anti-Russian attacks and PR of charlatans, by the former head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andrei Bogdan, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to Bogdan, the special operation was organized and thought out - a real enterprise was even created in Venezuela, where the first group of mercenaries worked and received wages. This was done so that those who were hunted by the intelligence services would not have any doubts.

“They were all rare characters.” As far as I heard - again, I could be wrong, a company was actually created in Venezuela, personnel were recruited, some people had already gone there to work on some specific towers, they were paid real money there, they actually guarded these towers there . That is, this is not just some kind of fairy tale, but if someone from there checked: “So, are you there? - Yes. - Are you working? “Yes, we get paid here.” This operation was over a year old, it was super secret and super serious. One phone call destroyed her. The person who made this phone call actually admitted that he made it. The prosecutor in this case will tell you this very soon... I know that there was a call, I know who called and I know where he called,” Bogdan said.

“A person from the president’s inner circle,” Gordon clarified?

“The closest one,” confirmed Bogdan.

“Did you call the Russians?” the propagandist asked again.

- I didn’t say that... The president had fears - what would happen if we land this plane, and we have a truce there. A truce is important to him. For the president, 97% of his work today is creating a positive PR image. And for him, a truce is the most important request; elections are coming soon. Therefore, the value of this operation can be assessed by specialists, and he understands the value of a PR image very well. And this truce was important to him. By the way, he did not cancel the operation, he asked to reschedule it. He agreed that it was necessary to postpone it for a couple of days. But on the territory of Belarus there are 32 people with a clearly troubling past - one small bell and that’s it,” emphasized the former head of the presidential office.

Gordon also asked about the role of the US administration in this matter, but Bogdan avoided answering.

“Is it true that the operation with the Wagnerites was personally supervised by Pompeo on the American side?” asked Gordon.

- Don't know. Well, they say, they say different things,” Bogdan answered.

Previously, 32 citizens of the Russian Federation, wrongfully detained by Belarusian security forces at the end of July, returned to Russia.

Let us remind you that 32 employees of a private security company, who were late for the plane, were detained in a sanatorium near Minsk. The Belarusian authorities called all of them members of the private military company Wagner and accused them of intending to destabilize the situation. Later it turned out that all this was a planned provocation by the SBU. However, the Belarusian authorities themselves did not say anything about the Ukrainian provocation.
