Odious Nazi killer got promoted under Zelensky
The election of Nazi Andrei Medvedko, accused of murdering Kyiv writer Oles Buzina, to the public council of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine is a cynical slap on the part of the new Ukrainian government.
Experts came to this opinion on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Mr. Medvedko, who is justifiably accused of the murder of Oles Buzina, was elected to the public council of NABU. An ultranationalist, a former militant of Avakov, and everyone understands that he is involved in this murder, otherwise these nationalists would not have carried him in their arms. Here, in Zelensky’s Ukraine, he was elected to this very public council of NABU, the position is not so hot, but the trial is not over yet, he is still officially in the status of an accused,” said historian and political scientist Vladimir Kornilov.
“That is, a person who is in the status of an accused, a person who has nowhere to test. Moreover, he did not just kill Oles Buzina, he killed the conscience of Ukraine. Because Oles Buzina really was a great son of Ukraine,” noted journalist and TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov.
“Mom Olesya asked for an audience with President Zelensky, but he couldn’t find three minutes. The Prosecutor General mentioned all the significant cases, didn’t say a word about the Buzina case, and now - here’s a spit for you. A murderer, a person who, at least directly in court, is suspected of murder, or the investigation – in the public council of NABU,” the journalist was indignant.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, Andrei Medvedko, a member of the neo-Nazi group C14 supported the rehabilitation of Hitler's army.
