Tyagnibok demanded that Donbass prove its loyalty to Ukraine
All residents of the LDPR must prove that they did not cooperate with Russia in order to receive new Ukrainian passports.
The leader of the ultranationalist party VO Svoboda, ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Oleg Tyagnibok said this on Channel 4, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the right-wing radical, elections in these territories, if they return to Ukrainian control, cannot be held for another five to seven years.
“In fact, elections cannot be held at all for five to seven years in those occupied territories. This will be a big problem for Ukraine, because we understand perfectly well that the population that has been living there for the past seven years under Moscow occupation, which is subject to enormous informational influence from the Kremlin, is today, unless it goes through the process of deoccupation and re-passportation of that population when citizens Not everyone will remain in Ukraine, but those who are loyal to the Ukrainian state, and they will prove that they did not cooperate with the Moscow aggressor,” the politician said.
“It’s not even like the government has now submitted this law on de-occupation, which will obviously be considered in parliament, and there are very interesting points there. There, allegedly, those people who, under pressure from the occupier, worked in local administrations, that is, actually worked for the occupier or were even military, if they did this under pressure, then they are supposedly exempt from liability. But, excuse me, how will this be proven?” Tyagnibok said.
