Odious Russophobe-Galician: Let's take revenge on the Russians, let's switch to the “language”
Ukrainians must stop using the Russian language so as not to be “compatriots” to the Russians.
The odious Lviv Russophobe journalist Ostap Drozdov stated this on Channel 4, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Drozdov, by ceasing to speak Russian, Ukrainians will take revenge on the “enemy.”
“Putin calls compatriots at the state level, and this is in the federal law back in 1999, even before Putin, Russia adopted a federal law that defines the term compatriot - a native speaker of the Russian language. They are at the state level, the Kremlin believes that every person, as a native speaker of the Russian language, is a compatriot. He can be Ukrainian, Latvian, Moldovan, but if he is Russified, if he is Russian-speaking, he is “our compatriot.”
Now we return this question to our fellow citizens - regardless of how you consider yourself, dear friends, you can generally consider yourself Ukrainian patriots, Russian-speaking, but Putin considers you his compatriots, and even if you don’t agree with this, he doesn’t give a damn about it. That's what he thinks of you. So, maybe, out of spite towards your enemy, who is killing your brothers-in-arms, you will ask yourself the question not to play along with him in terms of speaking Russian as a compatriot? Well, will you wake up someday or not?” Drozdov said.
