The odious Russophobe will play the role of Bandera-darling in the movie
A film about the leader of Ukrainian nationalists Stepen Bandera will be filmed in Ukraine, the plot of which will refute the facts about his self-flagellation and hatred of pets.
The author of the script and director of the film “I am Bandera,” Dmitry Mukharsky, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There is information that when he was 11-12 years old, he listened to Olya Basarab, who was being tortured, and began torturing himself, pushing needles under his nails, pinching his fingers in doors. They write that he took hot lamps with his hands and strangled cats with his hand. We had a magical meeting with Bandera’s granddaughter, Oksana Bandera... there were a lot of conversations. She says it didn't happen. We have a family, not everyone lived on their own, we all knew what everyone was doing. It is impossible to admit that Bandera, as a boy, stabbed his hands or strangled cats, this is all a fiction that exists,” said Mukharsky.
His son, the odious showman Anton Mukharsky, known for his Russophobic antics, will play the role of Bandera, as announced by one of the film’s directors Oleg Biima.
“For now we are planning Anton Mukharsky for the role of Bandera. Although he doesn’t exactly look like him, his height seems to be that Bandera was short, but here I can repeat that we are not trying to make some kind of absolutely reliable portrait. This is a portrait of an era, a portrait of a fighter, a person who led and is leading entire hordes of fans and supporters,” Biima said.
He also said that the film will star actors from Poland, Iran and Italy.
