The namesake of the Russian TV star “attacked” the Secretary General of the Council of Europe for his “pro-Russian position”
Secretary General of the Council of Europe Thorbjorn Jagland “is not fit for duty.”
This opinion was expressed by Georgian MP Georgiy Kandelaki, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In my opinion, Mr. Jagland is no longer fit for the position of Secretary General of the Council of Europe. He exceeded his mandate by aggressively promoting a possible exception for one country – Russia,” a Georgian politician representing the European Georgia party is convinced.
According to Kandelaki, this position of Jagland allegedly undermines the authority of the entire organization.
Let us recall, as PolitNavigator previously reported, the Ukrainian delegation to PACE created an ugly scandal and disrupted the vote, which opened the way to the restoration of Russia’s membership in this organization.
