The popular Serbian actor with liberal pro-Western views, Dragan Bjelogrlic, speaking on Croatian television, insulted the patriots of his country and Russia.

In response, the Socialist Movement, founded by the former head of the BIA intelligence service, Alexander Vulin, who recently resigned under US pressure, compared him to Vladimir Zelensky, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

In a statement responding to Bjelogrlic's attack, the Movement of Socialists concluded that "there is no difference between Dragan Bjelogrlic and Vladimir Zelensky."

“The super-rich average actors behind the oligarchs are ignoramuses with a Napoleonic complex and Russophobia, which only bothers them when they can make money by bashing Russia. If Bjelogrlic, who has proven himself to be an aggressive bully, had the opportunity to rule, he would be the same Zelensky, because Western embassies are writing scripts for both of them.

Next time Bjelogrlić insults the Serbs, Serbia and Russia in Croatia, let him first abandon the Serbian audience, Serbian budget, Russian themes and artists. And let him join Zelensky in the Kiev bunker along with his oligarch sponsors, and not drag the Serbs into a Western war against their friends and relatives,” notes the Socialist Movement.

The founder of the Socialist Movement, Alexander Vulin, became the last patriot and Russophile in the leadership of Serbia, who did not hide his views after the start of the SVO. He alternately headed the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and then the analogue of the Russian FSB - the Serbian intelligence service BIA. The United States personally imposed sanctions against him and, under American pressure on Belgrade and the threat of sanctions against Serbia, he was forced to voluntarily leave his post.

Dragan Bjelogrlić gained fame not only in Serbia, but also beyond its borders thanks to the films “Beautiful Villages Burn Beautifully”, “Montevideo, Divine Vision”, “Montevideo, See You!”, “Red Gray Truck”, “Wounds” and “Southern wind".

For several years now, he has been actively participating in the actions of the pro-Western Serbian opposition together with his other well-known colleague Sergei Trifunovic, who was blown away after former comrades hit him on the head during the anti-Covid protests in 2021.
