ATO officer accused the commander of the Ukrainian Navy of cowardice
The new commander of the Ukrainian Naval Forces, Rear Admiral Alexey Neizhpapa, despite his belligerent statements, in fact prefers, where possible, not to get involved with the Russian side once again, so as not to get into trouble.
This was stated on the YouTube channel of Ukrainian propagandist Roman Skripin by Maidan activist journalist and ATO officer Dmitry Likhovey, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In reality, the transition to the Sea of Azov - you need to understand that this is a political decision, which means obvious demonstrative opposition to Russia, especially after those two transitions in 2018, when one was successful and unexpected, and the second ended with a known outcome. Also, a criminal case that is being investigated by the State Bureau of Investigation is not being investigated.
These same questions are not just posed. For example, in our first interview with Khomchak (Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ruslan Khomchak - ed.), he directly said: yes, we will prepare, because how could it be otherwise. Neizhpapa diplomatically avoided this,” said the ATO officer.
“Yes, such a decision is not made at his level, but he could somehow lobby for it and stimulate it. But it seems to me that this fits into the concept that if something can be done by land, then it is better not to get into trouble with Russia,” added Likhovey.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier Rear Admiral Neizhpapa stated the need destroy Russian ships.
In addition, the Ukrainian commander threatened missile strike in his native Sevastopol, and also frightened American boat raids to the Russian shores.
