The Ukrainian Armed Forces' defense officer promises to bomb the land railway corridor to Crimea
The railway line under construction from the Rostov region to Crimea through the DPR and Zaporozhye region should become the next goal for the Ukrainian Armed Forces after the Crimean Bridge.
Vadim Vasilchuk, a Kiev City Council member from the “Voice” faction, an officer of the TRO platoon of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of Kyiv, stated this on the air of the “Direct” TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If we manage to destroy the Crimean Bridge, or when we manage to destroy the Crimean Bridge, Crimea itself will find itself in a rather isolated history. Although the enemy is now actively building a rut in the south, I think that our artillery assets, with the proper assistance of our partners, will also make it possible not to provide enough logistics routes,” the deputy said.
He added that ruining the lives of Crimeans is a political task for Ukraine.
“Therefore, Crimea is such a point for the Russians, in addition to its military significance, it is also very political. This was the first territory they captured, this was Putin’s first step. And if there are more problems or losses there, I think this will have a very strong impact on Russia itself,” Vasilchuk said.
