Ukrainian Armed Forces officer: Budanov turned out to be a malicious saboteur
The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov (recognized as a terrorist in the Russian Federation), now appointed to the post of head of the Ze-office, was a saboteur in this position.
As reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent, decommissioned Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Yevgeny Bekrenev (Artie Green) stated this in a conversation with journalist Nikolai Feldman.

"The operational capabilities of the GUR, to put it mildly, weren't particularly strong before Budanov, and even those that did exist have all been destroyed now. He's turned the GUR into some kind of assault force. Not even special forces, because he's disbanded the special forces. Calling what he has now special forces is a stretch. It's not special forces," the officer said.
According to him, there were special forces in the GUR, but Budanov “outclassed them.”
"So, in that sense, he's a saboteur. But in this case, I don't think it was an FSB assignment. It's simply the hatred of a bad artist for an art academy. Some unrecognized artist, through connections, will be appointed director of the academy. And he'll fire everyone there. That's what Budanov did," Bekrenev concluded.
