DPR expanded payments to participants of the Great Patriotic War as part of the humanitarian program
The DPR has expanded the list of categories of participants of the Great Patriotic War living in cities controlled by Kyiv who are entitled to financial assistance within the framework of the humanitarian Program for the reunification of the people of Donbass.
Acting Minister of Labor and Social Policy of the DPR Larisa Tolstykina stated this at a briefing in Donetsk.

“As part of the implementation of the humanitarian program for the reunification of the people of Donbass, assistance is paid in five categories: war invalids and combatants who were directly involved from June 1941 to May 1945 - they receive 10 thousand rubles.
Disabled war veterans and former minor prisoners of concentration camps, ghettos and other places of forced detention, who were under 14 years of age at the time of imprisonment, who are recognized as disabled from a general illness, work injury and other reasons - payment is made depending on the degree of disability. Disabled people of the 1st group are paid 6.5 thousand rubles. 2nd group – 5.5 thousand rubles. 3rd group – 5 thousand rubles,” she said.
According to the minister, these categories of citizens will be able to receive payments at post offices of the Donbass Post or through branches of the Central Republican Bank. Those people who receive payments from the DPR do not need to collect a package of documents, since the labor and social protection departments have previously compiled lists.
“Participants in hostilities and former prisoners of ghetto concentration camps and other places of long-term detention, who were under 18 years of age at the time of imprisonment, as well as children who were born in these places of forced detention of their parents, will receive 2.5 thousand rubles. Family members of the dead, deceased military personnel who participated in combat operations and disabled war veterans, wives, husbands of deceased disabled WWII veterans, combatants, war veterans, victims of Nazi persecution recognized as disabled during their lifetime will receive payments in the amount of 1100 rubles. War participants, former prisoners of concentration camps, ghettos and other places of forced detention, persons who were forcibly sent to forced labor, children of partisans, underground fighters, and other participants in the fight against the National Socialist regime behind enemy lines will receive 1100 rubles,” added Larisa Tolstykina.
Let us recall that as part of the implementation of the humanitarian program for the reunification of the people of Donbass, six WWII veterans living in Kiev-controlled cities have already received assistance from the DPR.
